We feel incredibly lucky to have found Viva. Our son Matteo started daycare at 19 months old, and as first-time parents, we were nervous — but Viva quickly put us at ease. She’s warm, experienced, and truly understands how to meet each child where they are. Since starting at Viva’s Matteo has grown so much in his confidence, communication and social skills and it’s been amazing to watch. Viva celebrates each milestone with us — whether it’s his first hug with a friend, trying a new food, or putting two words together—she keeps us in the loop with photos and updates. It’s clear that Viva is truly invested and cares deeply about our son and all of the children. We trust Viva completely and highly recommend her to any family looking for a caring, reliable daycare.

When choosing between a big and busy daycare versus Viva’s intimate and loving in-home daycare, the choice for our family was easy. Viva cared for my 3 kids from infancy through toddlerhood, and ten years later she is still an integral part of our family. She has the most warm and calming presence and consistently goes above and beyond for her families and community. She engages her kids with creative activities, helped us establish and maintain a routine, and consistently fosters a happy and safe environment. I couldn’t imagine our little family without Viva and I couldn’t recommend her daycare enough!

Our daughter attended Viva’s Daycare from the age of 15months old until she transitioned to preschool, and we couldn’t have asked for a more loving and supportive environment during those formative years. It was truly a blessing, after so many searches… Viva is incredibly attentive, nurturing, and genuinely cares for every child in her care. She quickly developed a strong bond with our daughter, making her feel safe, loved, and understood from day one. Communication with Viva was always prompt and clear, which gave us great peace of mind as parents. She kept us updated with pictures, texts and phone calls on our daughter’s day-to-day activities, milestones, and any concerns, big or small. The activities she planned, indoor and outdoor, were always engaging, age-appropriate, and helped our daughter grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively. What stood out most was the warm, positive environment Viva cultivated, not just for our daughter, but for all the children. It truly felt like a second home. Our daughter thrived under Viva’s care, and we are forever grateful for the foundation she helped build in those early years. All the kids love her, and it's easy to see why. Viva became also a friend and sometimes comes over to our house to babysit our children when we are out! Both me and my husband highly recommend Viva to any family looking for an experienced, caring and dedicated childcare provider, able to grow and shape little minds in such a positive and formative way!

Viva is an amazing person and caregiver. It was hard to leave our daughter at daycare for the first time when she was six months old, but Viva was honest and loving and made us feel part of her family from the beginning. As a first time parent, she was also a source of invaluable advice. I cannot think of a better place to send my daughter for daycare and we are lucky to be able to soon send our second daughter there too.

As a parent of three, I’ve experienced several wonderful home daycares—and Viva’s stands out as truly exceptional. When my daughter was just 4 months old, we were lucky enough to find a spot with Viva, and she remained in her loving care until she started preschool at age 3. Viva brings decades of experience to her work, and it shows. Viva cares for children as if they were her own. That kind of genuine love and attentiveness is rare and, to me, the most important quality you can ask for in a caregiver. She also fills the days with thoughtful, age-appropriate activities that are fun, engaging, and developmentally enriching. Over the years, Viva has become so much more than a daycare provider—she's become family. She still babysits for us, and I trust her completely. My husband and I most highly recommend Viva DeCarvalho's daycare. It is by far the best decision we have made for our daughter. She has been with Viva for two years and is thriving because of her time with Viva. Viva is attentive, loving, and we trust her implicitly. She focuses on children's development in a variety of ways and is an excellent communicator. Her home is very clean and very safe. We truly cannot recommend her enough.

Viva has cared for our daughter Livia from the moment we needed daycare (6 months old) until she reached 2.5 years of age. She treats the children at her daycare as if they were her own, and is extremely careful; she is very active and engages the little ones with daily storytelling, arts and crafts, and regularly takes them outside weather-permitting. Viva promptly let us know if Livia seemed to be acting even slightly unusually, and regularly sent us photos of the kids enjoying the many exciting activities she had planned. Finally, she is very flexible and always willing to help parents in a bind due to traffic, illness or whatever it may be. My partner and I feel so lucky to have found Viva's daycare and recommend her highly to anyone looking for a dynamic and flexible daycare that makes the kids truly feel at home!

Viva has cared for both of our sons from infancy through toddlerhood, and we couldn't be more grateful. She is incredibly loving, active, and treats every child like family. The kids spend plenty of time outdoors and enjoy a variety of activities, from arts and crafts to storytime and open play. Viva also keeps parents closely connected by sharing regular updates and photos, always prioritizing each child’s well-being and development. I highly recommend Viva!
