Very nice tour. Took two hours with a guide who explained everything about the elephants and what the history of each elephants was. There are 4 animals in total with a mahoud which cares for them and the animals looked happy and healthy from what i could tell. It might look a bit set up because each animal was standing at a seperate location but the guide explained this is for safety reasons. You're dealing with free roaming several tons heavy animals afterall, so if you're looking to touch the animals or take a bath with them for example, this is not the place, which is totally fine in my opinion. You get snacks and drinks before and after the tour for free, the personal was very friendly and helpful and did answer each of your questions. At the end of the tour you could paint your own little bag as a souvenir. The sanctuary is pretty new so they're not that big yet and are missing stuff like a health care station for example, they have to take each elephant to a hospital to get looked after for now. So if you have two hours give them a visit and help them grow, it is worth it in my opinion.

Es war einer unserer schönsten Erlebnisse in Thailand! Under Guide war super freundlich und hat uns sehr viel über die Elefanten erzählt. Außerdem hat er uns auch über das Leid aufgeklärt, was Elefanten in manchen Einrichtungen erfahren müssen, wo man sie streicheln und baden darf. Denn uns war es wichtig, dass wenn wir eine Aktivität mit Elefanten buchen, dann das es den Elefanten in ihrer Einrichtung gut geht und sie keinerlei Quälereien erfahren müssen. Denn das Tierwohl ist uns sehr wichtig. Wenn euch das Tierwohl der Elefanten ebenfalls am Herz liegt, ihr aber auch so eine Tour machen wollt mit Elefanten, dann ist dieses No-Touching Roaming Elephant Sanctuary Guided Tour eine sehr sehr gute Wahl! Darüberhinaus gab es bei der Ankuft, Auswahl verschiedener Snacks, Säfte und Kaffee. Da hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass wir ein wenig mehr Zeit gehabt hätten für die Snacks etc.. Die Einrichtung war sehr authentisch und atemberaubend!

I highly recommend this very well organised, well run, ethical Sanctuary visit. We did the 2-hour Mini Moment at 9am which worked perfectly for us and our toddler. Great communication on Whatsapp in advance about the booking and hotel pickup. The facility is brand new, very clean and in a stunning location. When we arrived, we were offered a wide selection of snacks and drinks while our guide gave an intro about the elephants and the sanctuary's work. In the 2 hours, we toured the beautiful grounds to see 4 elephants, which we observed from a respectful distance, but still close enough for a great view and photos. No riding, bathing or hands-on contact, so the sanctuary really lives up to it's ethical positioning. Highly recommend!

Beautiful ethical elephant sanctuary This is the most cutest amazing and ethical place! We couldn’t have been more happy! They elephants are taken care for and you can watch them from distance. Our guide was attentive and answer any question we got. They also pick you up from the hotel to make it easy for you. If I could rate this 100/10 I would!

We had a fulfilling and educational tour thanks to our guide Kai who shared his knowledge and experiences about the elephant sanctuary and the elephants. This was probably the closest we had ever come to seeing elephants, and it was indeed very memorable for the adults as well as the children in our group. The availability of an early morning (9am) slot was great to avoid the peak heat of the mid-day sun. The pick-up and drop-off at our hotel was also very much welcome.

Eine tolle Einrichtung bei der man merkt, dass die Gesundheit und das Wohlergehen der Tiere im Vordergrund steht. Die Einrichtung ist erst seit knapp einem Jahr tätig, aber leistet tolle Arbeit. Man merkt, dass die Elefanten dort glücklich sind. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und den Besuch uneingeschränkt jedem empfehlen, der sich für das Leben der Tiere interessiert.

We decided to come here after we discovered Following Giants was quite far from our hotel and this was just 15 minutes away. And I’m so happy we did. We were able to see the elephants up close while they did their thing (eating, bathing and more eating) and could see how much they were cared for by their Mahouts. Special mention for Rafel our guide who was brilliant in giving us the background of the elephants.

Worth visiting Kai our guide was a fantastic man with great knowledge and humor with great love for the elephants. You could tell that the elephants had a good time with their personal caretakers and that Krabi Roaming really cares about their elephants and does everything they can to take care of them. Most important of all is that you must NOT touch them but respectfully see them from a distance (about 5-10m).

Highly recommend Incredible experience being able to tour the sanctuary and see and feed the elephants in an ethical manner. As a relatively new sanctuary, the facilities are modern and clean and all the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Couldn’t recommend enough!
